Convertet Vegetarian (Arjan)

My idea of making advertisement usable fotos for a vegetarian way of living.
I tried to make foto in comic style which are very easy to remember at afterwards.
All of them are very good to use for all kinds of advertisements I think, caused by their very simple beeing.
There is no big story about what you see. So you can put all kinds of text on them and it will work.

Game Blender - How to conquer the game market (Arjan/Frank/Ina/Johan)

This sucks!
I created so much logos for this console. I thought I got crazy by doing this.

But one day I woke up and thought of the things above.


Logo:
What I create is quiet different to the things I´ve done before.
The idea was to make a new brand witch has a underground style.
All these people who play computer games mostly try to give their buyed games a new style buy making new textures, models, etc. So the main thing about this console is: To ease this for this for the buyer. And because of this I take a pirate flag for the logo. The flag is about idependece and freedom.


Photos:
Like the photo above they show situation whitch will happen I your house when you use the game blender. Super Mario kills you? - Yep, could be. If you change the game in this direction.

Video:
The video is less about the changing of games, but more about what gaming is about.

The first part is about frustration when you fail.
The second part is about the brand game blender. Short slogan + Logo
The thirt part is about when you´re victorious.

Althoug I tried to make a connection to game blender with the word "Mensch!"
People will use this in their normal live just like in the video and will be connected to game blender by doing this.

Metamorphose - It smells like ... WOW! (Arjan/Frank/Ina/Johan)

I had a very clear image of this in my mind when I started to make the layout for this.

First I thought of making two perfumes, but while working I decided to make one for both genders just like Calvin Klein dose.


Logo:
As you can see I create the logo by combinig the symble for men and women. Then I blur this new logo in Photoshop and harden it afterwards. What you get is a very simple sign, which nearly looks like something biological or genetic. At least I rotare it a little to give the hole thing more movement.

When I showed the logo Frank he told me to clean the hole thing a little up.
"Ja you was right man!"

The realtions between the circle/balls are in the last step better.


Fotos:
In my first layout I used from a picture-pool. But afterward I done all of them by myselfe. All pictures are a combination of a male and a female model. By layering them with stripes you get this morph-effect.
It was quiet difficult to combine the right pictures. I very often had to scale, rotare and color-correct them to find out that the combination will not be successful.
But I thing the the results are quite good, I hope you like them too.

Crime scene - I´m drawing dead people (Arjan)

Like I said in one of my last posts I´ll try to look at death in an other way while making fotos.
So here we go.
I hope for you these images don´t look like standart police fotos. I tried to give them a little touch of humor. If it works - please let me know! ;)

A4 HUiiiiBUUUU (Arjan)

Hey folks,

when I was running around to make these "dead" images, I found in a backyard this sheet of corrugated iron which are always used for rooftops. It was over and over with tar. I started to take some detail fotos of it.

I changed the colours and give a blur-effect to it.

In my opinion I have to think about death in a certain way while create something. Not only this scary and dark side. In the following post I´d like to show a different way to look at death. See you soon.

I feel sick an tired in these day.
I hate waking up and also hat going to sleep.
I think it is the winter what makes me so depressive.
It´s so fuckin´ cold.
And now I have to go outside, because my damn fridge is empty.

Movement Europa Center (Arjan)

At least I went on my little photo-safari to the Europa-Passage. The newest shoppingmall in Hamburg. Inside you find all shop for rich people. Boring!
The hole building is build out of beige-yellow marble and lighten also in yellow. Very boring. Gladly you can´t see yellow in yellow... glady!
